Cupori 240 (Ishol) ice rink tube is plastic coated tubing that can be laid under the ice in concrete without extra insulation. It has been developed in cooperation with IUC of Sweden. In combination with carbon dioxide technology, copper tubing offers an energy-efficient solution for ice rink refrigeration at reasonable expense throughout its lifecycle. Carbon dioxide is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic refrigerant with low operation and maintenance costs.
Product information
- Cost-effective cooling with combination of carbon dioxide and copper tubes
- Good heat transfer properties of copper tubes means constant ice quality and temperature
- Energy efficient systems because carbon dioxide and copper tube requires smaller pumps and tube sizes
- Temperature remains constant over the ice area – reduced energy consumption
- Low operation and maintenance costs
